I am going to play fast and loose to draw attention. I'll get the Detroit crew to come after me, they always do anyway. So who do people think I should go after when I get lynched? If you make too much theatrics around the Detroit crew, you may as well take one of them out with you, cause your back-n-forth may be just too much to imagine teammates going through.... Just tossing it out there... Hopefully when you get lynched we will have some ideas of who may be special...  |

OK, I am pretty certain that Holman is a special...
He reacts to accusations normally in a certain way, and it looks to me in this game that he just weathered a couple accusations without even mentioning them. That's not his style. I think he's trying to not make too many waves today. I think he should be our KILL tonight.

Lassr, Punisher, El Guapo, hmmm
Do we have a scan? (need to actually read these rules, I see)
Clearly Scoop is off the books for a convert. If we convert him, a player will be given the Protector Role - and they will know that Scoop was converted (and yet truly was the Protector).
My first thought is that we let Scoop live a day and then tomorrow he is the obvious lynch?

We do have a scan (from me). I won't know exact role, just vanilla vs. special.
The safe option would be to kill Scoop tonight and convert Holman.
If you really think he's special, we may get lucky and get their Seer, denying them a scan tonight.
Also, the transfer of power from Holman to whoever doesn't really give them any info.
The Risky option is to let Scoop live a day and hope the mob kills him and hope he doesn't block our kill.
Both have advantages, I'm not sure which way I'm leaning at the moment.

Well we got the protector. That makes kills good for the rest of the game once he is gone. And I am a goner anyway, people tend to get me early in the game for a lynch choice. So this works out with this role. We just need to figure out who my target will be. |

I feel like if we let Scoop live over night, there could be consensus to lynch him tomorrow - for not dying? No?
Not sure what to do with him tonight.
1. He can't protect himself - so we are free to wait and kill him any night.
2. A "real T-Bone" (were it not Scoop) would NOT counter this claim at all, so that doesn't add to his credibility.
3. We cannot convert him - as then some player would learn of the power-transfer, etc.
I say we chance letting him chill for a night and see if a lynch can happen tomorrow. Although, it could come back to haunt us. (haunt us...haunt us... haunt us....)
We need to make one 'blind kill' (actually we don't now... we could just kill Scoop - yes - and it's tempting)... I would still maybe suggest making it Holman, but we should discuss other options, clearly. If he is 'the seer', that's even better then converting him... Just saying I would not convert him if I were convinced he was the Seer (or special), I would kill him.. Converting would re-shuffle the power back into the deck, and make it harder to re-find, technically, just as this converted GoodGuyWolf is supposed to be harder to detect than the Original Wolves.
The scan should probably be on someone we also think is perhaps special, but also someone we feel we can try and get lynched... Here is my thinking on that strategy... Normally (IME) when a special (like Scoop just was) is outed, it actually can sometimes create problems for getting them killed (not really in the Scoop case). Our best 'luck' (short of killing the Seer tonight, and perhaps even better that that) would be to Scan the Seer tonight, let them ride through tomorrow untouched - and then kill them the following night with no one knowing (the shooter would make a nice find too).
Nabbing the Protector is great too, but right now he doesn't have anyone really to protect (there is the chance, of course he guesses our target).
Kill Options: Holman, Scoop, (other Special Suspect?)
Scan Options: Holman (if not killed), Punisher (I think not a special), Zarathud, Lassr
Convert Options: Lassr, BB2112, Punisher, El Guapo, Remus ... ?
Kill Scoop / Scan Holman ?
Kill Holman / Scan MysteryPlayer ?

Critique: I think that it should have been that if we were lucky to converted a special, that power is 'lost' as if they were killed (not transferred to another)... that just seems a little deus ex machine. to me.

My scan won't give us any additional info and if we are planning on killing him either night 1 or night 2 then my scan might be better used somewhere else. |
